Recent Works

My most recent work has been in cultural stress (e.g., discrimination, negative context of reception) and in crisis migration. My colleagues and I have recently received two research grants to test cultural stress theory within the context of crisis migration (Puerto Ricans following Hurricane Maria and Venezuelans fleeing the Maduro regime).
